Darkness shrouds all lands,
covers all people.
But God You appear
and shine Your light upon us,
Your glory in us manifest.
All nations and all kings
come to Your light.
You raise eyes to look about You.
Your sons are getting around You
from afar.
Your daughters come too,
borne in Your arms.
You lead us forward on the road

People on the earth,
